Jim and Steve, thanks. I really appreciate your comments. I'm working my way through a box of Ilford. The bottle shows the jagged paper cutting off the light on the left. It always seems neccessary when the source is close.

Another post - this one shot as a multiple exposure on a 4X5 Sinar with a 210mm lens for the pocket watch and a 90mm for the watch face exposure. A little bit of digital retouching to take out the name on the pocket watch and the holes on the watch faces. The background is a Byzantine calendar (I think...). Shot on Ektachrome.

Another in the series similar to the last two - except this one shot on a Cambo 8X10 with a Schneider 210mm lens. No retouching was needed on this one. Image was exposed using light painting.

I really enjoy these three images that you have shown. Not only do you evidence creativity far above the norm but in doing so you depart from purely representational depiction and enter into a realm of subliminal and symbolic "art" not seen very often in photography.

I really like all of your images. The way you lit them and using multi-exposure gives them a real 3-d look. Really nice.
