    Macro and Horseman VHR

I am looking for a macro lens to use on my Horseman VHR. Any suggestions?

    Thanks, Joe

    Macro and Horseman VHR

The VHR works well for macro, but with some limitations. The rail be sometimes bumps into the subject for extreme close ups, depending on the lens used. (You can get around this by inverting the camera on a tripod.) The camera movements are extremely useful in overcoming close-up DOF issues. The 150mm Schneider G-claron is well corrected for medium field size (down to around 1:1). You can also use enlarging lenses with an adapter available from Schneider that will screw into any No.1 size shutter.

I have a Horseman VHR and use the schneider 135 repro claron lens. It is small and works well.
