People in the DC area may already be aware, but I figured I'd give a heads up just in case.

Thanks for the heads-up
Thanks. Recently saw the Adams exhibit at the Corcoran, but didn't know of this show.
Sweet.. I, like Walter, saw the Adams show at the Corcoran. Maybe we can get a LF Forum meet there and have lunch or something before/after. Just a thought.

Is this LF forum great, or what? Appreciate the tip. Can't get enough of AA.

I finally got a chance to get in to DC to see this show and it was well worth the trip.
There was a fair amount of Adams work that I had never seen before, more O'Keeffe than I've had the pleasure of seeing in one place before, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there was a good bit more photography on display in the museum at the same time (a Frank Gohlke retrospective and quite a bit of portraiture by a variety of other photographers).
A full list of what's currently on view is available here:

Again, it is well worth a trip if you are in the vicinity.

If you are in town for the Admas/O'Keeffe exhibit a few blocks away at the National Gallery of Art there is another free exhibit of work from Ansel Adams, Robert Adams, and Alfred Stieglitz called Oceans, Rivers, and Skies. I recently saw both and they make for a great day.

I picked up a book which had work from this show in it at the Harvard CooP a couple of weeks ago. The work is wonderful. I wish it was coming to Boston or NYC.
We just unwrapped the book from under the Christmas tree. "Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adams: Natural Affinities", Little Brown; Essays by: Barbara Buhler Lynes, Sandra S. Phillips, Richard B. Woodward.
A book my wife a painter and I will enjoy together. She got it at Barnes & Noble if you are looking.
