    Well I think it works nicely - it draws the viewer into it. It would work however - as a square picture just as well (cropping some of the bottom). It's a matter of preference really, and perhaps continuity with a larger group. Sometimes it's nice to throw in a slightly different format.

    Thanks! I had set up the shot without the guy there, was about to take it, and then he walked up and got on. He looked pretty confused by the foreigner with the old-looking camera, and I barely got the exposure off before he drove away.
