There's one with glowing red eyes wandering around New Mexico. We call it Robocabra.
Might be wonderful if it was a bit "dogized" with a skin, a dog head... and some bark sounds...
Very interresting, but it would probably need numberplates on the road.
It reminds me of a sort of four-legged spider like movementvise.
An eight-legged version would be even more stable. Then add
twelve glowing red eyes and a stiff hairy coat and you will have your
own huge spider for hauling your gear and scaring the neighbours.
Probably follows instructions better than my triplet boys I am training up to carry my gear for me...LOL!

Ironic how its so advanced but what's the catch? oh, its just ANOTHER thing that runs on gasoline! Makes me think of the fireman's dog in Fahrenheit 451 that can hunt you down from 10 miles away and then stabs you in the face with a syringe...
But what happens to all the gear, cameras and accessories if the robot has a sudden "malfunction" ? Is there an "emergency knob" if it decides to jump into a river or from the top of a cliff ?
It has a "limp-home" mode, just like your BMW, Jean-Louis.
Early versions kept stopping to mark their territory.
