For my Pentax 67 and A-S 4x5, I use either a Gizto 320 (7 lbs.) or a Gitzo GT-2941 Basalt (4 lbs.) Both work great.

I'm with the Gitzo crowd! However, I defiled it by adding a Majestic head. The thing is rock steady, but I am only shooting 4x5 and 5x7 formats. The geared head is very nice anywhere you happen to shooting, and the Gitzo column is also geared rise. Very effective combination. Heavy, though.

Are there any of you who have expiriences with the Benro Carbon tripods?
Especially durability and stability. Prefered model perhaps.
