I've gotten interested in doing pictures of reflections and moving water this season. For some reason, they often end up being in a panoramic format.

    This is excellent.

    Hi Sheldon,
love the photos you've posted here, especially the muted colours. Are you making them at dawn and if so do you set up in the dark?

    Re: Moving Water

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

On the latest shot I had gone to the coast to try and catch a blazing sunset at a new favorite location. It was 95 degrees and clear in town, and I figured the coast would be perfect. As I drove over the last ridge to hit the coast - BAM! Socked in fog and mist, 65 degrees, totally limited visibility. It was like someone flipped a switch.

I searched around and found this location as an alternative to what I had planned to shoot. It was fading light at the end of the day, and yes it was a pain to focus the shot!

The muted colors are from the dim, flat light and Astia.

Very unique, almost spooky feeling to that picture, Sheldon. The 65mm was very effective here.
