    Photographic maxims and sayings?

Can you give me some examples of photographic maxims or sayings?

    "F/8 and be there!"

"Expose for shadows, develop for highlights"

"The best lens is a good tripod"

    etc. etc.?

    Any more?

OK - let me add: no quotes about / by photographers used endlessly on mugs and teeshirts.

Here's my favorite one! Not sure who this quote is from, but I've always loved it!

This is the large format forum, buddy.

It's "f/64 and be there an hour early."
