    Printing tips?

When I print pictures with faces, I like to dodge the faces a bit more and then print them using a higher contrast filter. I makes the facial features "pop"

Do you have any favorite printing practices or tips to share?

    Re: Printing tips?

Leave the print in the developer for the manufacturer's maximum recommended time to get the riches blacks.

Too many people pull their print from the developer too early.

Dodge the face with a small piece of No. 5 filter on the end of a wire.

Oh that's a good idea! Never thought of using the filter itself as a dodging tool. Learn something new everyday!
