Steelways : Originally posted a version of this taken with a 58mm lens on the urban landscape thread, but I didn't like how the 58mm made everything look obviously wide angle, and much detail was lost in the building. I since returned with a 110xl lens and stitched 5 negatives together.

I think I'm starting to get somewhere with this subject. I thought of Gursky's Montparnasse photo, and how leaving any indication of the building length out of the picture creates a more mysterious effect...

This is excellent! What great lines. I think I would prefer with the sign cropped out, making it more abstract, but it works really well as presented too.

thanks corran, i had to cut my dev. time back by about 4 1/2 min, i was pretty excited when i looked at the negative and could see trees through the window, thanks again.
