thanks David! yes that wild grass really works there, its also kind of noman's land as just the tram is allowed to be there in that roundabout middle... so even I shouldnt be there

I like your stairs image/composition a lot!!! even the light shines in stripes!

Thanks very much, Steve, Pat & Aron - I really appreciate your response. I started with some of David Heald's photographs of Cistercian abbeys in mind, but on framing the photograph in post 1546, I also began to think about Escher, and that led to some of the later compositions, including the one of the choir stalls. I was lucky to have the place to myself for a while.

Aron - I've often thought about photographing the Triago building, normally when I'm passing there on the way down to the Alps. I like your first one in particular; is there also a viewpoint where the whole building looks like one dimension of glass and steel, against the sky?

Excellent exposure with these. I find it tricky to balance ambient and artificial light in such settings. Beautiful images.

    thanks Kurt, Jonathan!

David, I walked around the building but this view had the cleanest background... /actually the planzer building just next to it has a great impact too when you are underneath, its feels like a huuuuge "temple" for camions...

Very nice shot. I really like the way the arch leads the eye through the image.
