    Speed Aero Linhof project

I wanted to share this images showing my speed/ektar/linhof project.
The linhof front standard brings fine movements for an extremely subtle image shape correction at f:2,5
I will like to include a nice range finder, I will much appreciate if you have some suggestions.
    Hope you enjoy this update.
    Kind regards,
    Miguel

    Miguel,,

I think that the one they sell just tells you the subject distance and If you wanna save some money on a rangefinder that will do the same thing, visit the sporting goods store around deer season and get a rangefinder for about $ 35.00.

    Ian, great job!
How did you make the new front standard?
How does the front standard fold(?), disassemble to fold?
What keeps the lens board frame in place when you raise/drop it?
    Thanks,
    Michael

Michael, I had a local joiner/cabinet makers fabricate a new frnt standard from oak, the way the standard sits when it's detached governs it's maximum width & height.

The standard attaches to the focus rail with two lugs (modified brass screws_ that fit the keyed slots. It folds into the body by detaching and laying flat with the lug end towards the rear.

I'm still missing some brass parts but someone is making them for me, there's a plate to go on the left of the front standard which is slotted so that a brass knob tightens the lens panel in position for rise & fall. I uses a bit of twig for the photos

Thanks Ian! That's a front standard design I haven't seen before.
