I also do not understand about collecting so much. All my gear I use on a weekly basis for the need of my shot. At this point, I am content with what I have and do not need any more.

Well I'm sure it is a investment, just like my car collection. Someday I will sell them off and retire. I like to enjoy my retirement savings driving them instead watching my money go away in the stock market.
Yeah I suspect that Leica prices are down but not by half like a lot of retirement funds.

My Toyo metal field (mid 1960's), with a Fujinon 90mm f/8;
It has a 4x5 revolving back, and I believe that 5x7 and half plate backs were also made (although I have never seen these). The bed can drop, and I can just about use a 65mm, although it is a little fiddly at that length.
Wow I am so jealous of all these fantastic cameras. One day I hope to obtain my own large format system it's been a dream of mine for some time now.
