I just bought this Deardorff V8 from Jake at Blue Moon in Portland. It's a late 1960's or early 1970's S/N 5138. Was used for many years by Oregon photographer Ron Cronin, and according to Jake it has been knocked off the tripod and into more than one bodies of water.

While it looks pretty rough, I spent a few hours cleaning things up and aside from some pinholes in the bellows it should be ready to go.

If you need a new bellows, I'd send yours to Custom Bellows, Keith does a great job. You can use some fine steel wool on the plating, looks like it's coming off already, or leave it as is. I also wouldn't use it on that Bogen quick release, unless you'd like it to meet some more bodies of water or worse! L

That's a lovely camera, and an even prettier view! I have been to Skyline Drive and it's gorgeous.

This is my camera. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My first ever 4x5, and my first time shooting large format in almost a decade. Intrepid Camera with Fujinon 210/5.6.

I'll second that - and a very nice man too.

I'm donating this SINAR P2 4x5 camera to a local college but I used it for a long time.
