    Re: Show off your camera!

Well since Ken posted a long-lens setup, here's the SV57U with a 4x5 back and a Fuji 600C. I was shooting the curvy background tree in between the two straight foreground trees to the right. Waited for light to warm and added a Nikon A2 warming filter. I posted the tree in the "Trees" thread, but here it is again...

    Cheers, Steve

    Hi guys,
that's one of my favorite joy.
In the pics it shows the ultra rare 4x5 Graflok back adapter, the 1" spacer for macro, Rodenstock Rotelar 180mm and the Polaroid 545 Pro back.
I've shoot some very impressive foto with this toy!

    Thanks! It's a beautiful place.

Corran, awesome setup! I've wanted that lens for a while now. I don't shoot my Heliar enough though.

    Lovely Shot!

I have been to the tops of the Great Sand Dunes, with my 4x5 Sinar Norma.

What an exhausting but exhilarating hike that was!

I did not put my stuff down, due to the blowing sand.

My Parents have a 16x20" B&W print from that hike on the wall in their home.

They come up on ebay pretty often...I would suggest watching many, the prices seem to range from $250-$800. I have no proof of this but from what I understand Kodak made the ones with a yellow dot, and they might have better image quality. Non-yellow dot ones were contracted out to other companies.

Considering a setup Speed/Aero went on ebay last week for $1300 I might have to build another one just to sell...this one cost me a lot less.

Yes! Very tough to hike up both tall dunes. I was up there all day on both occasions waiting for sunset. So the 50lb pack sat down.
