My newly aquired Shen Hao HZX 810 in teak and titanium..a real pleasure to use from 150mm to 600mm...Jesse
I got a new tripod for my Zone VI 8x10, a zone VI heavy weight. We had steady 20-30 mph winds this weekend on the YB Ranch in Medina county and this combo was steady solid.
Here is my Okuhara, a Japanese half-plate field camera made in Osaka. It takes book-form film holders, so I made an adaptor from scraps of cocobolo and ebony that accepts modern 4x5 film holders. I’ve seen four other Okuhara cameras on the Web, but none of them are exactly like mine, and none of the Web sites provides a firm date as to when they were made. My camera differs from the others in that it has hardware on the rear standard to allow for rear swings.

This was my first Sinar 4X5 camera and boy did I get allot of mileage out of it. I just thought this was kind of a pretty set.
