Good. I buy equipment from them often, although I've never bought film from them. You get very good personal service, partly thanks to one of the sales people being assigned to you.

I work perhaps 20 miles from them, have been to the store. IMO, a first class operation, but I don't buy much from them because since I'm a New Jersey resident they have to charge me sales tax.

Just ordered RA-4 developer and bleach-fix last Friday and it was at my house on Tuesday. I have ordered film, paper - both color and B&W and B&W Developer. They have always delivered when they said they would at a very good price. I have been using them for well over 15 years. If you order over the web they will keep you informed by e-mail as to the progress of your order. First class organization! Also picked up a Canon G9 from them last fall and they were very responsive and had the best price.

Unique is another example of a photo equipment wholesaler who moves into retail sales stores, for one reason or another. Considering the profit or lack of it in retail photo sales, one wonders a big WHY?

I have used Unique Photo for over 25 years now, for most, if not all of my film and chemistry needs, as well as I have purchased my Digital cameras, lenses, light meters and many inkjet printers, and several scanners. I have nothing but praise for them. As far as film is concerned..my sales rep at Unique was telling me that Kodak has gone to a policy of only selling directly to select distributors, of which Unique is one of them. They, in turn will sell to smaller retailers. So Unique is "uniquely" positioned to offer film products from Kodak...even though their inventory is indeed smaller than it once was.
