Cheers, Annie
Welcome,
Out of curiosity what was the cost of building the bellows? I am looking into doing this for my 20x24 project. Also, are there any photos of how and what you did? Any info would be very helpfull.
Tim
Hello, Albert! I'm yet another 4x5 guy in Victoria (Tillicum area) -- we really *should* consider all getting together sometime, especially if it ever warms up! I'm shooting Provia on a Toyo 45A, mostly of stumps and things in the forest.
Cheers,

Please do keep me updated as well! We'll be out there by July 1st and I'm keen to connect with local photographers.

Hey Don. You should venture out to my neck of the woods in Sooke and give the ocean and mountains a try. Lots of little coves. And there's nothing like a day at Botanical Beach in Port Renfrew. Rock formations will blow your mind.....at least at low tide.
I've got some Fuji Pro 160 and Delta 100 that is crying to be used sometime!
I've forgotten what sun looks like. But then again, I prefer clouds in my ocean shots
The total cost was $75.00. One can of 3M supper 77 spray glue
2 yards of boat canvas
2 yards of blackout curtain lining and I had a roll of 70#
paper that I used for the stiffeners.
I just googled making camera bellows and found the info to start.
I probably have 30% of the material left. If I would have done a more exact estimate of material the cost might have been in the 50-60 dollar range.
I would also be interested in getting together - although I must warn the rest of you that I'm quite new to LF. - Paul
All these replies from Victoria explain why all those copies of View Camera magazine disappear off the shelves at Bolen Books. I wondered who was buying them.
