    Tim,

I'm out of town and will need your paypal address in order to speed things up. I tried tim@tim8x10.com, but paypal said that wasn't a registered user.

At the moment unfortunatly snail mail is best. I will be sending prints on the honors system though even before I receive payment. No need to speed things up.

I am sending as fast as I can.

    Cheers

    Tim,

I'm back from my travels and am ready to send a check for the postage.....do I send it to your CT address listed earlier in this post or to an unknown NY address? Please clarify, thanks.

PS prints have NOT yet been received.

    Re: ULF Print Exchange!

    Tim,

Received 4 prints today.....seems odd since I sent 5 prints. Oh, well. Check is being sent to the return address listed on the tube.

I would like to know who the artists were for the following prints received:

    White Styrofoam Head
Metropolitan harbor --- where was this taken?
    Vertical industrial staircase and door

any additional info would be helpful, such as the type of paper printed on, developer, toner etc. Thanks

Eddie, I can identify your print from the data listed on the back of the print

    Great work gang!

    Re: ULF Print Exchange!

    John,
The White Styrofoam Head print is from me. Sorry everyone for not labeling them, I was in a hurry to get them out the door and realized I never wrote the info on the back of them. If you could write "Evan Blackstock 2008" on the back of it that would be great. And if you want to keep it as a mystery print that is ok too.

    Print Info:
Printed on Ilford Multigrade IV from a paper negative
    Developed in Ilford Multigrade developer

    Camera Info:
Since I didn't have an ULF camera but wanted to take part in the exchange, I built a fixed-focus camera out of foam-core with an 11x14 paper box for the back of it and attached my tripod plate to the bottom of it. The lens is an Illex-Kendro WA process lens that I knew covered 11x14. I then figured out where the focus distance was (26 5/8" I believe it was) and would move the head to that distance from the lens. Since I didn't have GG I just had to guess on the framing, etc. I would then develop the paper negative and see how far off I was, reload paper into the camera, go back outside and re-adjust, and re-expose another one. I managed to get the shot I wanted in a few tries however. I only messed up the first one, in which I went outside and realized that the lens cap was not on and I was exposing the whole walk out there. I got kind of a neat blurry image though...

Nice work everyone, all of the prints look great!
