    I'll definitely talk to him about it. Any photo class I ever wanted to take has always required by instructor that I take some photo 101, which I feel I am way past...not to be snobbish or whatever I just don't want to sit in a class with a bunch of people learning the difference between auto/aperture priority/shutter priority and what ISO and the rule of thirds means. I will definitely bring it up with him though, thank you.

    I would venture to say that the class is well beyond the basics. Many who have taken the class have ultimately moved on to produce some pretty nice work, such as Imageworks.org - a group of large format photogs, or on to contactprintersguild (myself), or been published, etc. But, best to ask Rod about your concerns.
