I have a 65mm Schneider mounted in a recessed lens board. Unfortunately its quite a challenge to get a normal shutter release attached. It seems that a small adapter is in order. Have any that you recommend?

I have the Gepe cable release extension on all four of my recessed lens boards. It is the way to go. I find that once mounted on the lens and you are positioning the lens on the recessed lens board you can adjust the lens to have the extension fit into the corner of the recessed lens board. I find that assembling the lens and board this way keeps the cable release (once attached) pointed away from your lens. This was the main problem I had with the "L" shaped adapters; they swivel and can swing a long cable release right in front of your lens.
I agree with Joshua. Pay the bucks for the Gepe release. It won't let you down.
