    1)yes the g4 got 4 slot / 3 are occupaid byone of 256 and two of 512.
    2) scanned at max res 16bit .
    3) Mr Peter I will happy if you could sell to me the memory.

Thank you again for your support

    Thank you

FT-S5000 Driver V2.11---this is only for use with CG V2.04 or later, and only with FT-S5000 Firmware V2.12 or later. Don't use it with CG V1

According the the Readme files, FT-S5000 Driver V2.142.14 is only for Mac OS X 10.5, where you will be a RATOC Systems International FR1SX Firewire SCSI converter. Screen says if your not using this, then it is not necessary to update this program.

ColorGeniusEX V2.07 Updater for FT-S5000--this is only for use with Color Genius V 2.x.x. Don't use with version 1.x.x

I'd stick to upgrading to Color Genius 1.0.4

I'll be happy to send you the memory gratis. Just PM me your mailing address.

    Hi folks,

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Cezanne issue for a friend here.

When scanning highlight areas of a negative we're getting what looks like banding in the blue and green channels. I've attached samples here and have exaggerated them with curves since JPEG compression was masking it.

Calibration strip and sensor had be cleaned by a technician not too long ago.

    Thanks for the help!

So that scanner was working fine before?

I had a similar problem with an Agfa t2500. The techs told me that it was a bad electronics board. I hope that's not the case here.

    Hi Cezanners,

I have upgraded Color Genius v 1.0.1 to 1.0.4 and the banding is not there anymore. I am scanning at moment. Thank you hope I have resolved it.

    Thank you very much.

    Hey Cezanners,

What are the differences between jcolor/euro/swop 16bits when try to scan negatives?

jcolor, euro and swop are different color space standards for CMYK used in the printing industry. As this scanner was for the printing industry for prepress these outputs are included with the software.

Jim, do you have any idea what the differences between the spaces are?
