    Kodak Master 4x5

I heard a while back that Cambo continued to produce a similar design to the sil ver Kodak Masterview 4x5 mono-rail camera after Kodak decided to give up on the camera. Does anyone know if the Cambo lensboards would work for this camera?

They are 3 7/8" square and have a light seal built into them. Any other viable a lternatives that would work? Or do I need to go to the used market or have one b uilt from scratch.

    Thanks in advance.

The 4x5 Kodak Master View Camera became the Calumet C-400 view camera back in the 1950's (also C-401) and was produced by Calumet (when they were still a manufacturer) for many years. They still supply lensboards for them, or at least they did as of a few years ago. Try Midwest Photo Supply in Columbus, Ohio for used ones. Get one that is predrilled for the size shutter you will be using. They are a die cast aluminum alloy with a light trap ridge on the inside, about 3-7/8 inches square. There are also recessed boards for wide angle lenses.
