Thanks Brian and Mel. Brian I think that I must have had a corner of the print come off the scanner glass...I see what you addressed and it is not in the print. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Donald, I just looked at your portrait again and I can't stop staring into those eyes, captivating!
Thanks Hugo, I have to check out the Michael Smith images(color 8x10 film !! now there is a expensive proposition).
Donald like the headshot and expression, thou I found the right side composition a bit awkward.
Not sure I am going to print this one.
Playing around in PS to see what I like best.
Domenico, You certainly nailed the moment in this one. Wonderful facial expression...
Domenico! Print it! Its an absolutely wonderful shot.
Domenico,
I told you to open a portrait studio. Maybe one in hollywood.
You captured a glorious moment in her life. Wonderful!!!
Hugo
Domenico,
I have to say I consider you one of the best portraitist on the forum from the photos I've seen. And this particular photo proves that "title" as well. The one thing that distracts me is her arm in the shot. To me, it's as if the arm was separately smoothed from the rest of the photo.
Besides that, I love the life captured in the photograph. Honest and real emotion.
Bravissimo!
Ted
According to the traditional portrait photographers, you should never be able to see the back of an arm Here expression however more then compensates this estheticly less attractive side.
