    My first (and so far the only one) picture made with petzval lens. Slight front tilt, aperture about 11 - black cardboard, exposure time - as fast as I could take off and put back the lens cap. Foma 200 developed in F76+, 1+14, underdeveloped. This combination gives somewhat low contrast, so significant contrast boost (overall and locally) was applied - probably a little bit too much.
    This photograph may not have any big artistic value, but it shows what effect one may expect from an old magic lantern lens.

    Ominous tree at one of the 13th century castle ruins not far from my home (certainly when considering the distances you Americans are used to ).
