This is a rushed shot of Mount (President John) Adams in Washington state.
The zigzagging near-middle-far tree lines caught my attention, but the evening shadows surprised me. They appeared after set-up, and were spreading by the second. They're zone 1 – the glaciers up there are zone 7-8. If I did this again, a GND filter would tempt me, but I might choose instead to increase exposure 2 stops, try some compensation development for the highlights, and hope for more-even tray development. Such is life. ;^(
