Wow, Tim, I really like that image. It seems very powerful to me. I always find getting real vertical trees like that spaced properly is much harder than it seems like it should be! (Shooting pool always felt that way to me too!) And you managed the sun perfectly.

here is an image of an old pine tree trunk in my yard, wanted to test out this old brass lens i bought from Jim last week, its a rapd rectilinear, not a name on it anyplace, this was shot on a paper negative 8x10, i fogged the edge of the paper i think when i was getting it out of the box, seems to have a bit of swirl to it, im going to shoot a portrait with it tomorrow, cool lens, thanks Jim
"WOW! Now thats a big camera. By the way, how many megapixels is that thing?"
Here are a few more trees taken with the 14 in. Rapid Rectilinear 8x10 paper negative.

Here's a photo made near Aspen, Colorado. Shot with 210 mm Rodenstock, 4x5 TMX.

These are more about the lacy lichen (not Spanish Moss, but it looks like it) than the trees, but without trees, there's nowhere for the lichen to grow. Winter Solstice trip to Point Lobos.
