    Dancing Aspens

I was in Colorado in the fall a couple of years ago. After a day of shooting, I backed into a grove of aspens very late and sacked out. In the morning, I opened my camper door to answer the call of nature and saw this scene looking me in the face from the camper door. The call of nature had to wait, as the light was coming up fast.

I reworked the image this weekend, with digital dodging and burning. Chamonix 4x5, Fujinon 240mm, Acros.

    C&C always welcome.

Harley, this is excellent; it seems to have more evocative qualities and gentle contrasts than many of your more scenic or "by the book" images, and I like that.

Certainly one of the finest aspen images I've seen.
