Tree shadow of a negative from 2008 that I had never printed beyond negative proof. I was working on my White Trees portfolio and started noticing BLACK trees. Tough negative. Had to go all the way to a 1 1/2 filter on Ilford Multigrade and dodge on the left, burn to the right. Sliding light. One of those negatives that kept reminding me that it was there from the file....
Cottonwood from Canyon de Chelly trip in October. Last shot of the day in deepening twilight, way up the canyon. Might have to back off another 1/2 filter on this baby, plus touch it with a little burning on the right side.
Much fun to have a day in the darkroom with a fresh box of 20X24 paper! Two from yesterday. They seem to show up a little harsh in here but the prints are fairly subtle. Seeing them on screen really makes the spotting problems pop out. I can see every shining white spot I need to take out.
