Lake Jindabyne, Autumn Poplars
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ultrafine Silver Eagle VC FB photographic paper, image size 24.6cm X 19.6cm, from a 8x10 Fomapan 100 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD triple extension field view camera fitted with a Wollensak 159mm f9.5 lens. The Wollensak wide angle lens dates from the 1930s and is uncoated but because it is a simple design featuring only four elements it is surprisingly flare-free even to direct beams of sunlight between leaves.
Photography:first utterance. Sir John Herschel, 14 March 1839 at the Royal Society. "...Photography or the application of the Chemical rays of light to the purpose of pictorial representation,..".
Love the poplars Maris

Still learning this film... In hindsight, I might have exposed a stop more to minimize some of the red/blue shadows. Could have been due to exhausted chemicals too. Otherwise, happy with it!
Great photos highkrausen and Mat M. My favorite time of year perhaps for photography.
Just starting to get a little snow here. We'll have more soon. 7.25" verito on my speed graphic, tmy2 4x5 in pyrocat hdc.
