Love this one. I have a similar shot planned, we just never get any fog here! So it's a 1hr drive (hopefully in fog!) and a 30-minute climb hoping to find patches of fog in the right place when I get there.

Thank you, Jody! I got very lucky with the weather last weekend. Believe it or not, that's only 30 minutes from Los Angeles in the land of bald, featureless skies. We get weather with good clouds only 15 or 20 days a year.

Come spring, their resurrected green needles are glorious.

Come summer, it’s just another pine tree.
