Wanted to use my crappy jury-rigged Angulon 65/6.8 for once. Color would’ve been nice.

I like that one a lot, gogo120. Wonderful light and tonality management...

Thank you to all who commented on my image on the last page. Sorry I didn't respond sooner, things have been very busy here with shooting and developing as the leaves are falling fast.
The weather has been great the last week, exactly what I hoped for, with a few days of fog and a few days of bright sunshine. Unfortunately things haven't been so good on the photography side of things, somehow nothing I tried worked. A bit frustrating to enjoy the circumstances and feeling like you can't make the most of it. That elusive foggy fall shot will have to wait another year.
Even though I didn't find anything that moves my photography forward I did shoot some film to try and get in the mood. Here is one that I think is decent if unoriginal. I tried to get a good shot of the two trees to the right of the central tree that were in the light combined with the grouping on the right. This was the best I could come up with.

Here is a recent shot from the June lake loop area on my recent trip to the Eastern Sierra. Shot with my 15" Spencer Portland. Carbon transfer print.
