Very nice photo, Frank... were you standing in the water too? But anyway, that does not change the impact...

Thanks Jiri. No, I was just on the edge of the water, keeping my feet dry.

Here is one more, titled 4 flooded trees, made at Kerkdriel, the Nertherlands, again with my Technika and a 90mm SA lens, on Tmax 400, rated at 200 iso. Probably f/32 at some 4 seconds. January 14 2011, high water in the river Maas.

    Re: post your trees!

When I started my photographic passion, I could not imagine myself shooting in B&W - I was shooting color, and felt as if something was missing if I tried a BW shot. During the years my attitude changed completely, I stopped shooting color (except family snapshots and portraits) and have even lost interest in properly developing those color films already exposed - they were stored in the fridge in the meantime.

But what with them? Surely not throw away. So I tried developing them in my BW developer of choice - Rodinal. And here is one of the results...

    In fog

    Chamonix 5×8″, Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 210mm, 5×8″, Fuji CDU II @ EI 25, cross-process in Rodinal 1:50 for 15:00min.

(the film was exposed in Fall 2008)

Many more very inspirational tree shots here since I last viewed this thread. Great work. This is one of my latest woodland images. Ebony RSW45 with a 6x12 back.

Nice Tristan! That photo seems to be a combination of glorious and haunting.
