yes indeed! I almost traveled that way on one of my several trips to Cali.
I ended up getting lost between Redding and Eureka Cali. was a good lost, "I think"
I got to Mt. Lassen and all I seen was a sign w/ an arrow pointing up this delapidated road.. I have to admit half way up I got spooked and turned around,,, the road was rough as a cob and practicly unpassable.. Got to the point I thought maybe I might be on a hiking trail."
I was in a Ford Taurus to say the least
