    Vista, Photoshop CS Memory Problem

I have a new Dell computer with 4gigs of RAM and Vista Business. I'm running Photoshop CS. I did a new scan of a 4x5 transparency. The scan is about 3mb. When I try to use a brush in quick mask, it keeps telling me I don't have enough memory. I never had this with XP and 2 gigs of RAM so I know that something else is going on.

Does anyone have any ideas. I'm beginning to think I bought a $2000 door stop.

    Thanks in advance.

    - Dan.

Never mind. Apparently I had the whole document selected before I went into quick mask and for some reason that was causing the problem.
