    4x5" scanner.

hello. i am looking to buy a new scanner. basically i want the equivalent of the epson perfection 3200 photo. i just bought one of these off of ebay, and it is not working like it should i.e. scans on an angle, and has a messed up line going through it (so i dont think i want to buy anything else off of ebay). i am interested in the epson 4990 but it is out of stock. what are some other alternatives? i am open to different brands however i am very comfortable with the silverfast software. thanks!

I hear really good things about an Aztec Premier.

I do have the 750V and it's a pretty decient beginner scanner for the money.

Good morning. Epson has a V700 in the clearance section of their website store at a great price. I'm not sure thought that it will have the software you want. Good luck.
