BDT - your tulips are such large files that I can't see more than 1/4 of the image on my screen. The highlights are all blown out too - I asume a scanning issue. That migth not be so noticable if they were smaller. From what I can tell the lines in the last one are pleasing.
I got these back from ScanCafe; the files I posted are from their preview .jpgs. I was able to "rescue" the highlights almost entirely from the 16-bit .tiff files, however the files are so HUGE (200 megapixels!) my poor little computer chokes when I try to output them.
I'm going to a friend of a friend's this weekend to try and work from the .tiff files. Perhaps I should have waited to post until after then...
