Just got back my first batch of 4x5 color film from the lab (ever); I took this at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival about a month and a half ago. Shot on a Chamonix 4x5 with Fuji Velvia 100F.

I think this would be very powerful in a large print.

Thanks - I think so too. I'm going to try 16x20, since I have a few frames that size already.

First attempt at flowers with the 4x5. Also first attempt with a Horseman 450 and probably my third session with a 4x5.
Nikkor T*ED 6.3/270. TMX. The whites are a tad blown out. So I adjusted the gain and contrast.
    Regards

Sorry for the crappy iPad proof scan. This is a Trichocereus hybrid, the yellow flowers are each about the size of my fist, and they last for about 12 hours. Taken in the shade on the side of my house.
