This thread just keeps getting better and better!
cannot agree more... very inspiring
Wow, really incredible things are posted
So, this is my first real try at shooting flowers. Orchids.
250mm Carl Zeiss Tessar @f11
5x7 RA-4 paper negative, 85B filter, scanned as C41, little of no color correction to adjust for over-development.
Since I rarely work in color, I have no idea how this scan looks on others' monitors.

As a noob, I'm in awe of so much of this work. I can only aspire!
These peonies are about the third or fourth sheet of film I ever exposed (three weeks ago). Ilford FP4+ in HC-110, contact printed on Ilford VC paper. Shot on a 5x7 Burke and James with a Kodak Commercial 14-inch at about f/16 if memory serves.
The Sunflowers were the first exposures from a new-to-me Toyo 4x5 with a Fujinon 210 f/5.6, and with major fungus/haze issues. Shot at 5.6 a few days ago. Also FP4+, also HC-100. Negative scanned on a Canon 9900F in two parts and merged in Photoshop.
