Thanks, Colin!
A Gladiolus x colvillei, a normal gladiolus, and a very dead lily.
All shot with a wollensak raptar 101mm lens, a toyo 45cf, on fp4+, with exposures of 1 to 8 seconds, depending.
Thanks, domenico! This shooting wide open thing was inspired by pictures of yours.
I'm trying to revive this thread too...
This was my first ever try on high-key shot. MPP VII, either Angulon 90mm or Xenar 135mm at (almost) maximum bellows extension (I really think it was the Angulon), window light (really cloudy drab sky), Fuji duplicating slide film cross-processed in C-41, converted to BW and toned in computer. I hope I got everything right and that you like it...

Jiri that's very nice...
First posting here...
This a 4x5 I shot of some tiger lilies, I accidentally fogged my negatives by accidentally turning on a light in the bathroom I was using as a dark room so I lost some contrast and you can see the outlines of the negatives I had on top of this negative. This was the only negative that survived, the rest were lost unfortunately. I'm relatively new to LF but it is by far my favourite format to shoot with.
Stargazer Lily: Arca Swiss F-Field C, Symmar-S 300mm, Velvia
For close shots, no more Sironar for me.

Beautiful work - - - but lousy timing. No more fresh flowers until Spring.
flowers for my wife, shot on expired polaroid (type 52), scanned and tinted.
by the way, i've seen this thread floating around for awhile and always ignored it. i HATE flower shots. they're sooooooo boring. and then i took a look...wow! some of you have really done some interesting things with flowers! some very unstraight shots in the bunch, whether it's Galli-esque odd lenses, alt-process (one of my 'things'), or just really interesting takes on an over-exposed subject. so...well done, all! lots of talent in this group, if it makes me look at more than one page of flower shots.
