Ebony 4x5, Steinheil Orthostigmat 210mm f6.8, Pan 400, D-76
Hold You Tonight by Austin Powers, on Flickr
Camera: Chamonix 045N-2
Lens: Schneider Symmar-S 210mm (Copal 1)
Film: Ilford Delta 100 (expired 2006)
Shutter Speed: 1/2s
Aperture: f5.6
Development: Self developed in Microphen Stock for 10mins. Additional time given due to pushing 2 stops. I failed to take both reciprocity and bellows extension into factor.
Scanning: Scanned via drymount on betterscanning holders using an Epson v700.
Details: Taken in Cypress, Texas. 2015. My third sheet of 4x5 film ever taken. Lighting was artificial. A lamp with LED bulb and pillowcase over lamp.
PS: It has been a long time coming. Thanks to all the help over the past months. Looking to more 4x5 in the future.
I had really bad white staining on the negative (this one in particular...but still have about 6 more to scan). I re-washed it in distilled water and photo-flo...it helped a bit.
Wow Johnathan that's very impressive 1st results. Love the image and happy to hear things are working out well for you.
Is this on the v700 with the scratch that you were looking at?
Regards,
Pali
Good evening, a few weeks back I was fooling around with camera in the backyard. I feel I still have a few issues to work out but overall I like what I came out with and my wife loves this image.

Thanks for the kind comments. And yes this was with the v700 with a scratch. I have yet to find it on the glass or affect an image scanned. Only scanned 3 sheets or so of 4x5 so far. Spent some time calibrating it and learning how to dry-mount scan 4x5. And this weekend I was out of town.
Did manage to shoot 8 sheets of FP4 of an old building in a field...from a distance with my 90mm. Even though FP4 not ideal for landscapes (I don't think), it was given to me and so I used the rest of the box. Next is fresh HP5 that I bought.
