Flowers Anyone?

Photographed on HP5+ with my 8X10 Deardorff fitted with a 12" Kodak Ektar lens.

Orchids...my favorite.

Not sure if I'm impressed of the photo or that you grew this yourself. One of my aunts grows them in the Philippines, in her front yard, to sell to stores. She has them tied up on branches on a tree.

I am envious of people who can grow Orchids outdoors in the Phillippines.... I have only a 12 X 16 foot box I can grow them in, and it must be heated through the winter. The expense!!

The orchid is Laeliocattleya Powhatan, clone #148, bred by Arthur Chadwick Sr. in the 1980s and registered in 1990. In color, it is a white flower with an intense purple and yellow lip.
