I just got back into photography after about 5-6 years away from it due to fighting cancer. This was shot about seven years ago. I built the camera (similar to the Bender design) and used a 210mm Schneider lens. I just retired in January, so I got myself a scanner for all the large format negatives I've got. I also bought a Epson 1430 printer.

Thanks. I definitely have some momentum going. I wake up every morning excited about the day's photographic possibilities.

I like these last few color shots a lot Jonathan. The color balance is quite good. That Fuji negative film has always been one of my favorite films, but I only have a few sheets left.

I only have ONE sheet left! I kept saving my "good" 4x5 color film for the right time, which is just silly. These flowers are all so vibrant I figured what the heck. I do have two boxes of Portra in the freezer, but after that, unless I buy more, I'll be down to all E-6 films.

I do like this lens wide open. The Sinar DB Copal iris is terrible with only five blades that give ugly pentagons instead of nice rounds....

The lighting was provided for free by Nature, but adjusted in PS.....
I am not sure if this is based on the design (dialyte) but the lens is nice wide open which I do not like from all my lenses.
I have a 152mm f7.7 Kodak Anastigmat (dialyte) on order (and hopefully shipping), so I am curious to see if this would be the perfect little sister of the 203mm.
(I also have the 203mm coated - Ektat in Supermatic).
