    Let's see my experiment with LF prints toning...
    It's traditional B&W print with some toners.
    Schwefel toner Siena (1:20) --- 5 minutes exposure
    + Gold chloride (solution) --- 10 minutes exposure
    ADOX mcc110 paper
    Linhof Technikardan.
    Shneider Macro Symmar 80mm.
    Fuji Acros 4x5.
    Finol.

    Max, that is stunning! I haven't had much luck toning silver gelatin prints, but that's probably due to my use of cheap rc paper; it doesn't respond to toning at all!

    So the paper itself doesn't pick up any tone at all just the silver? The border doesn't look colored at all.

    BTW it's beautiful!

    It's normal. When toning, the paper doesn't been colored.
