It's the right season for it!

And since you're the challenger, you get to choose.

Here is one to remember before you go to sleep... I was testing out my new cambo 8x10 with a Schneider 300mm lense. This little guy used to be in my brother's room, but now lives in the garage ever since it randomly came to life for 5 minutes (after not working for 3 years).

One of the reasons i do not shoot portraiture on LF is i find it is almost impossible for the subject not too be camera conscious with the exception of professional models.
I will submit an image which i believe would have been very difficult on LF the subject would have just wanted to touch the camera.
I am going to atempt portraiture on LF soon & will post results .cheers Gary
(please the photo is only an example so no criticisms about not being LF) http://www.largeformatphotography.in...1&d=1193488756
I love this photograph. The eyes look amazing and the tonality is great. I can't imagine how much better the image looks in person than on this computer screen.

It's really fun to see all the portraits here.
I include one of my baby-boy and his mother.

Sinar F2 4x5" 180 mm lens (I never learn me the name of the lens, but I think it's called Caltar II)

Stefan, a face worn with age, I feel a very full life coming from him, experiences, good and bad.

Marcus, your son's personality is evident, he is at the age when he begins to form a personhood of own but he still needs to reach for the world from the protective embrace of his mother.

There is so much talent here among the membership of this forum it is truly a pleasure to be among you all.
