    Gitzo magnesium or Manfrotto 410 head?

    Need to decide on the 'best' head for the Gitzo 1227 legset to support the Tachihara5x4!
    -Gitzo -Low profile- G2271M Series 2 Magnesium 3D pan&tilt Head or Manfrotto 410 geared head that is the question?
    Both have load capacities of: 5.0kg. But the Gitzo is 1/2 the weight@0.7kg! Overall my my main concern is buying the 'best' tool for the job, ease of use; stability; reliability;
    hike-ability. If I could hold these things in my hand it would be easier to decide than
    buying from reviews and pictures off a screen! Any thots? Sorry to be asking another 'HEAD' problem
    Cheers
