Anyone know of a good Tripod Carrying Strap?

I'm tired of my Manfrotto tripod carrying strap slipping off my shoulder. Has anyone experienced a really well designed unit? It must have some kind of strap/enclosure on one end, to encirle the legs and either a bolt to fit into a 3/8 inch hole at the head end of the tripod or a loop to fasten onto the head end.

I use a strap designed for snow skis -- fits all my pods and cost about $12.

I think he might mean this one:

I have the same problem with the Manfrotto strap for my 3021N and 3047 combination. All the non-slip material flaked off the strap after a few years. I am almost wondering if a bag would work better.

I have used an Optech tripod strap for many years and it's still going strong. Plenty of padding, the non-skid is still there and it's quick and easy to attach and detach. It is da bomb.

I also like the Op-Tech, the weight reduction with a CF tripod makes it a joy to use in the field.

I used the Bogen strap for years without any problem.

I know some of you are going to laugh, but I have a case I use to carry my tripod in that was a case made for a portable chair. Got the whole thing from Krogers for $12.00.

Along with the other frugal (cheap?practical??) suggestions, I made my own from two nylon web dog collars and a strap from a computer bag. The collars are adjustable and have a ring for the strap to clip on to. I carry a Berlebach with this set up and it works very well.
