Yes the Canon has a larger max app and that's nice to have, if you actually use it. At the other apertures the Leica is ahead in image quality.
You seem to be a fan of Canon AF. I guess we disagree there too. I'd prefer the Leica manual focus action which is what I would actually use.
I don't care how many pros use a Canon lens. That doesn't make the lens good or bad. Maybe it's the best choice for point-and-shoot style work like sports but we are discussing image quality not size, weight, AF, etc.
