    Kodak 2-D *X10 Tripod Mount

I have been looking for tripod clamp for a Kodak 2-D 8X10 View Camera but with no success. If a forum member has one could they send me a photo of one with dimensions so I could try to make my own. I have been using a 19 inch lens and it is very hard to balance without one of these. Thanks for any help - my email is simbenton at yahoo dot com

Re: Kodak 2-D *X10 Tripod Mount

Simon, here are the specs: 8 and 11/16 width, 8 and 9/16 width of wood, 4 and 1/8 depth, 5/8 height of wood. Inside width of channel guide: 8 and 3/16. Clearance of channel guide: 1/4.

I have a tripod block that I believe was for an 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 camera; it has the same dimensions as above but it is 6/16 narrower and is stained lighter. If you are interested in buying this one, you can use the hardware and perhaps even the wood, just glue on a new end strip. You would need to replace the brass rod for a longer one.
    Let me know.
