    Hi Don,

There are two ways you can upload a file, either by attachment as you did, or by using a third party hosting company (like Flickr). unfortunately, PSD files are specific to Adobe software so not everyone can see or even open them. From with Photoshop you need to do something like "Save for the Web..." and save it as a jpg file. From there, you can attach it.

Lots of stunning work here. Thanks for sharing.

Jack, I find your image of the Salton Sea particulary compelling. I wonder if this is what Lake Eyre in South Australia would look like with water.

    Thanks for sharing everyone,

    Hi Robert,

I believe that my old (need to upgrade) version of ACDSee (Version 7.0; they are up to 9.0) was able to open the PSD file after it was saved to my hard drive and after it was downloaded via Firefox. After viewing the file I deleted it so it is no longer on my computer.

    Hi Rich,

Fortunately, I have Photoshop Elements 5.0 on my laptop, so I was able to see Don's image before he deleted it. I didn't realize it was a PSD until I tried to open it. I think he will be able to fix it then repost.

Hope things are well with you. I'm off to Maui on Thursday, to do some photography and spend time with family (actually, I will be playing tour guide for my brother and his family). I hope to get some picture taking in as well.

Thank you and this was a neat idea to start this thread! I agree there have been several great images posted -- it's fun to see what others shoot.

    Cheers,
